I read a statistic a few years ago that I can’t get out of my head.
The moment reminds me of when you’re shopping and walk away from an item telling yourself, “Okay, if I’m still thinking about this in a few days then I must want it.”

Do we need to own cookbooks in the age of the internet?
From food blogs to Instagram, you can find almost any recipe you need online. Do a quick Google search or scroll through social media and you’ll encounter endless ideas for tonight’s dinner.
Finding weekly meal inspiration online is easy and the content feels infinite.
This is why I sometimes question purchasing cookbooks.
To be clear, I adore cookbooks. They are an inspiration to flip through and help readers like me explore new cuisines and cultures.
